It is the news agency dpa’s very own startup-accelerator: Next Media Accelerator (NMA) advances entrepreneurs in media and marketing and helps them to launch innovative business models. During a six-month programme, founders receive an investment of up to 50,000 €, a tailor-made coaching, access to the publishing industries networks and investors.

Since its launch in 2015, NMA was able to support a total of 35 entrepreneurs – always aiming at furthering change in the media-industry and putting new business-models on the market. “We were able to form a strong international community in the last years. With various partners in the USA, Europe, and Israel, we want to become Europe’s biggest hub for innovations in media,”  explains Nico Lumma, Managing Partner and CEO.
